In this month’s employee spotlight, we shine a light on Muthyala Ashtalakshmi, who joined our Sales & Marketing department in 2022.

In addition to her enthusiasm in the office, Ashta is an accomplished athlete with numerous victories in national and district-level sports events. Join us as we delve into Ashta’s experiences, including her passions, her journey with Value Creed, and much more.

What are your primary responsibilities and what aspect of your job do you enjoy the most?

As a marketing strategist, my role encompasses content generation, strategic planning, and analysis of outcomes for C/ETRM-specific services. Additionally, I am responsible for managing employee branding initiatives. Personally, I find great satisfaction in the diversity and challenges that come with my job. It prevents monotony and provides me with constant opportunities for growth.

One aspect that brings me immense joy in my role is the opportunity for creativity. The endless possibilities for innovative designs fuel my passion and enthusiasm. The feeling that there are no limits to my knowledge in this field fills me with excitement and a profound sense of fulfillment.

What was your journey as an athlete and what motivated you?

As a true thrill seeker, it was the electrifying rush of adrenaline that kept motivating me. The sensation of the breeze caressing my face while standing on the 100m starting line, the anticipation building as I awaited the gunshot, and the exhilarating burst of energy that followed, even if only for a few seconds, created an utterly surreal experience.

My personal journey as an athlete has had a profound impact on shaping my character. The unwavering desire to push beyond my limits continues to propel me towards becoming the best version of myself. I embarked on this journey with the 800m, and gradually achieved victories in the district-level competitions for the 600m, 400m, and 200m. For three consecutive years, I proudly represented both CBSE Nationals and Open Nationals, competing in the 100m sprint and Long Jump events.

How do you balance your time between your professional responsibilities and pursuing your interests?

In addition to recognizing and understanding your own capabilities for effective work strategizing, I firmly believe that it is possible to carve out time for the things we are passionate about. It all boils down to achieving self-balance. We are different people every day, and we should not stop ourselves from seeking out new interests. Sometimes, it can be as simple as discovering a new song, reading a book, dancing, spending quality time with friends, or engaging in playful moments with my brother. I try to seize the present moment and find happiness in making the most of each experience.

What do you find most challenging about your job, and how do you overcome those challenges?

I perceive challenges as stepping stones toward realizing my full potential. While graphics and visuals are often seen as self-explanatory, the process of conceptualizing and designing them is the most demanding aspect. It becomes crucial to effectively convey the intended message to the viewer. However, once you know that you have achieved it successfully, the satisfaction is unparalleled. In fact, I wouldn’t necessarily label it as a challenge, as it serves as my motivation to continually push myself and deliver better results each day.



Are there any accomplishments you are proud of? Do you feel there are any professional development opportunities for your future?

Being awarded the Employee of the Year in my first year of joining remains the most significant accomplishment that fills me with immense pride. This achievement stems from a combination of having the right individuals, investing dedicated efforts, and being in the right environment. Given these factors, I confidently anticipate a plethora of professional development opportunities on my horizon. I firmly believe that I am in the perfect place to seize these opportunities and propel my career forward.

Can you describe the company culture and how it supports your professional growth?

My workplace is my favorite place to hang out. I spend a significant portion of my day ideating, planning, collaborating, and having fun with my team. It is crucial to find a sense of comfort and belonging, and the Value Creed culture has played a vital role in making me feel embraced and valued. I have consistently received support, knowledge sharing, and a nurturing environment that allows me to experiment and learn from failures. This continuous support has led to a significant professional transformation in my career, instilling in me a greater sense of confidence.

Tell us about your first role at Value Creed.

“I started at Value Creed in January 2022 as an associate consultant and went through an extensive LearnSmart training period for about two months during which I learned most of the industry processes that helped me to accelerate my career at a progressive speed and has been an important part of my progress till today.”

What is your Vision for the Coming Time?

“The LearnSmart training session was very comprehensive as well as fast paced wherein the focus on assessments coupled with the workshops helped me massively to develop a 360 personality.

 I have learned more post my training while working on the projects getting ample exposure with consistent guidance and support from my colleagues and the leadership team.”

How does this role relate to your Career Aspirations?

The projects are based on real life simulations of businesses that made me come full circle in the quest of understanding the ETRM basics, cementing my functional skills and making me client ready.

What are your goals as your career develops?

In my coming years I want to keep learning and adapting which I am certain will enable me to render even better service to Value Creed. I see my career graph approach a higher mark in terms of knowledge and leadership position. 

What do you think of Value Creed’s company culture?

The employee culture is perhaps the most valuable aspect in my tenure here. Ever since I joined, I have had constant and caring support from everyone, especially from my supervisor and the leadership team who put their confidence in me which has driven me to where I am today.
