Much of Value Creed’s success and stellar reputation in the commodities industry stems from the way it trains, treats, and mobilizes its team members. As the company achieves and grows, so too do the people responsible for its accomplishments. We have mapped out a plan to reward, recognize, and expand our consultants’ responsibilities as their careers progress.
Categorizing consultants’ positions within the company serves several purposes in allocating skill sets and enabling rapid career development.
Because Value Creed thrives on individual growth, it sets succinct performance parameters at each level along the consultant journey. This creates milestones team members can focus on to reach the next level.
Value Creed employee's understand their duties based on their journey as consultants. Titles, compensation, and assigned duties correspond to their progression, motivating advancement to the next level.
Value Creed values role progression through a supportive system, not competitive “up-or-out” pressure. We focus on helping team members identify their skills and interests to best serve client needs.
Some of our best ideas come from our employees. Management’s door is always open, and we encourage you to make your voice heard with observations and suggestions for improving our software and data solutions.
At Value Creed, consultants progress through levels of responsibility, compensation, and client engagement based on their performance in five categories, with rising expectations as members reach each successive level.
As consultants advance through the various levels of their career journey, meeting expectations and gaining experience, they eventually reach a crucial point at Level 4. Each role comes with its own set of key performance indicators (KPIs). These KPIs are tailored to measure specific goals and success criteria relevant to the responsibilities at each stage of the consulting journey.
Focus on completing tasks, building initial client relationships, staying informed about market trends, and contributing to knowledge sharing and improvement initiatives.
Work independently, actively engage with clients, identify and document client pain points, contribute to team and project success, and support the development of others.
Manage delivery teams or projects, propose value-added solutions, deepen expertise, create training materials, and mentor team
members.
Oversee overall delivery and sales efforts, identify new business opportunities, monitor competitors, develop innovative solutions, and lead improvement initiatives.
Successful completion of Level 4 positions team members to assume company leadership responsibilities. Level 5 employees will be slotted into either sales or delivery positions, according to their abilities, interests, and company priorities. Each assignment carries distinct key performance indicators:
Focus on maintaining a balanced client mix, embracing a growth mindset, and owning revenue and profitability metrics. Take a strategic, big-picture approach, retain and upsell to current clients, and seek profitable new clients.
Develop and refine service offerings and toolkits, own delivery methodologies, and provide industry expertise. Oversee work assignments, scheduling, tracking, and supervision, while continuously improving workflows.
