Transition Approach
Our approach was structured into phases, starting with set-up a vanilla target version which was used to map customized business processes to new system features. The next step was to map current business function and customizations and identify the change scope. We also planned user workshops and planning sessions to incorporate feedback. All this culminated in a defined roadmap and a detailed implementation plan for code upgrade as well as infrastructure changes. This was then finalized and validated by the stakeholders.
